Annual Status of Education Report (ASER) is a citizen-led, household-based survey. It was conducted in 2018 across 154 rural and 21 urban districts of Pakistan assessing the learning outcomes of children aged 5-16. The survey gives an overview of the learning competencies (grades 2/3-lower primary) of Pakistan's children whether in school or out of school. This report presents findings from 2018.
